We offer stable positions in psychiatric clinics in which close cooperation with other units including an emergency care, outpatient care and inpatient care is a regular practice. You are going to continuously improve & develop your skills, thus encouraging the prestige growth & development of the clinic. Swedish psychiatric clinics are self-sufficient facilities where paramount focus on treatment, quality and knowledge in provision of good mental health care to patients is a must.
As a psychiatrist, your duties will include:
- Coordinating compulsory care of the patients in a unit in accordance with the Compulsory Mental Care Act,
- Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams & observations,
- Responding to referral letters as well as care and treatment planning in collaboration with other care units,
- Contributing to the development of a clinic with a great focus on medical quality control,
- Preparing materials for professional & clinic development in order to maintain and improve the patients' and the employer's satisfaction,
- Helping director of a clinic with planning and development of the unit's operations,
- Taking part in the supervision of internal and resident physicians and students,
- Contributing to a clinic's budget control,
- Being part of a clinic's standby services,
- Taking part in a clinic’s medical team.
